InterAct is happy to do what we do, and we do it with a lot of help from our friends and partners everywhere. Here are just a few of the friends and partners we connect with in our mission to bring arts to kids. We are so grateful for the support of our friends. Lenore Blank Kelner is the Founder and former Director of InterAct Story Theatre, and she conducts professional development opportunities not only through InterAct, but also through her own company, Lenore Blank Kelner and Company. Lenore Blank Kelner & Company is also home to Creative Kids, a literature-based after school drama program.

People are often surprised to hear that InterAct doesn't maintain a bricks-and-mortar facility. "How can you possibly run a theatre company without an office?" That's easy--we use Podio, the niftiest online collaboration platform on the planet. They help our small band of artists take care of business like the big guys, and make it easy to manage life from our "mobile offices" on the road. Not only that, as of June 2012, Podio has extended official sponsorship to InterAct Story Theatre...so not only do they help keep us running smoothly, but now they're doing it for free, just because they're lovely, wonderful people who think what we do is pretty cool. :-) That means we can run even more efficiently, so we can spend less time in our mobile offices and more time exactly where we belong: out in the schools and communities we love to serve.

Several present and past InterAct artists have been teaching artists with the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts, including Maria-Inez Tripodi, Val Carroll, and InterAct's General Director Ali Oliver-Krueger. InterAct has also performed at Wolf Trap's beautiful Theatre-in-the-Woods, most recently the production of Two-Tone Tale pictured at right.

The Kennedy Center's Education Department provides a dazzling array of arts education programming for teachers and students throughout the country. InterAct's relationship with the Kennedy Center has spanned the past twenty-five years, and we are proud that many of our artists are frequent presenters or teaching artists participating in Kennedy Center programs.
