an audiotape or CD of the book and a collection of

parents are included. Parent instructions are also
on the audiotape.

Extension and follow-up activities are included.

Audiotapes/CDs
InterAct Story Theatre has recorded on audiotape/CD
a collection of stories from around the world. These stories
have been featured over the years in InterAct’s Stories on
Stage! assembly programs. Children will want to listen to
these stories over and over again. There are even places in
several stories for children to “get into the act”!
Stories
on Stage!
(Vol. l): Tales from Africa & Asia
(approx.
40 min.)
This audiotape/CD includes three stories: The
Lonely Lion and The Proud Lion are from Africa and
The Ungrateful Tiger comes from Vietnam. All three stories
focus on fierce animals – lions and tigers – who learn about
friendship and respect for others.
Stories
on Stage!
(Vol. ll): Tales from Across the Seas
(approx. 40 min.)
This audiotape/CD
includes a Russian story, Clara the Complainer, and The
Magical Tree, an African tale. In these stories, the characters
learn a great lesson about appreciating the little, but important,
things in life.
